About Kilchoman 11 Year Old - 2023 - Founders Cask Release - Calvados Double Cask Finish -Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Kilchoman is a family run distillery established by Anthony and Kathy Wills. As the business expanded, the husband and wife team were joined by their three sons; George, James and Peter. This is the fifth and final release in the Founders Cask series, chosen by youngest son, Peter Wills. This single cask is an 11 year old Calvados double cask finish.
This eleven year old single cask has been matured in two separate bourbon barrels for over nine years before being finished in a 400 litre calvados cask for more than two years. The Calvados finish has added an abundance of fresh fruit character, particularly apple and pear notes, to this outstanding single cask
