About Glengoyne 15 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Matured in first-fill sherry and bourbon casks and hand-selected refill casks, the 15 Year Old celebrates the contrast and harmony from marrying these casks, allowing the light and fruity signature house style to shine.

Glengoyne is one of the few distilleries that uses absolutely no peat to dry their malted barley, instead simply using air. They also have the slowest distillation process, resulting in a beautifully smooth and easy-drinking whisky.

Cask DNA:  20% first fill bourbon. 25% first fill sherry. 55% refill casks.

Nose: Expect malt flour, fresh hay, dried fruits, citrus and Rosehip

Palate: Clean with a gentle sweetness, a hint of tropical fruit, candied lemon, cinnamon, vanilla and apple pie

Finish: Pleasant dry finish with gentle spice and lingering oak.
