About Glengoyne Cask Strength - Batch 9 - Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Bottled at the strength it emerges from the cask, this delicious golden-hued dram is un-chillfiltered, unfussed and untamed; the closest thing you'll get to opeinng the cask yourself. 

Wood Type :

14% First-Fill European Oak Sherry casks.

14% First Fill American Oak Sherry casks. 

16% First Fill Bourbon barrels.

56% Hand-selected Oak Refill casks. 

Nose : Baked lemon, malt biscuits, sticky toffee pudding, fresh green apple, plum and hazelnut. 

Palate : Pleasant weight, vibrant, initially vanilla and fresh fruits. Poached pear, figs and honey, with a gentle wave of spice and dry sherry. 

Finish : Long with dates, apricot and honey.
