Glengoyne 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
Glengoyne is one of the few distilleries that uses absolutely no peat to dry their malted barley, instead simply using air. They also have the slowest distillation process, resulting in a beautifully smooth and easy-drinking whisky.
Hand-selected sherry casks provide the 12 Year Old with its character. Plenty of citrus zest, Granny Smith apples, toffee and coconut make this whisky all too easy to drink.
Tasting Notes :
Nose : Coconut oil, honey, lemon zest, dried oak.
Palate : Toffee apples, cinnamon spice, ginger, orange, shortbread.
Finish : A hint of sherry and soft oak. Very well balanced.
