About Tamdhu 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky - 2023 - Limited Release

The much anticipated Tamdhu 18yo 2023.

A very exciting 18yo expression,Tamdhu only matures in the finest Oloroso Seasoned Sherry Casks.

Combining American Oak Oloroso and European Oak Oloroso casks, the 18-Year-Old unites Tamdhu’s signature fruity spirit and 18 long years of full-term sherry maturation to deliver layers of indulgent flavour and a deep natural colour which reflects the quality of the oak.

 

Nose: Dry nutty sherry, cherry, milk chocolate, rum raisin, citrus, baked oats and plum.

Palate: Sherry notes are rich, complex and mouthcoating with vanilla, brown sugar, red apple and dried fruits.

Finish: Long and warming, dried apricot and dates, soft spice and stewed apple.

A cracking dram, highly recommended by Robbie.
