The Epicurean Ruby Port Finished Limited Edition - Lowland - Blended Scotch Malt Whisky.

The Epicurean "Wood Finish" series continues with this Ruby Port Finished Limited Edition.

After initially maturing in traditional oak casks for a number of years, Douglas Laing have finished this limited edition bottling in a hand-selected Ruby Port Single Cask for a second maturation period of more than twelve months. The result is a full-bodied Malt with layers of complexity and character.

The Ruby Port cask originates from the Douro Valley in northern Portugal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest demarcated wine regions in the world.

This latest offering from our friends in Glasgow is a cracking blended malt with a heart of the Lowlands.

New Limited Release - Only 684 bottles.

Tasting Notes :

The Ruby Port Finish boasts an explosion of flavours including spices, milk chocolate and tangy raspberries.
