About Loch Lomond 29 Year Old Mizunara Cask - Single Malt Scotch Whisky - 150th Open - 2022 - St Andrews

Created in celebration of the 150th Open at St Andews, and the distilleries proud relationship with golf’s oldest, most prestigious tournament.

This 29 year old single malt was distilled in 1993 using unpeated malt from the unique Straight Neck stills at the distillery.

This exclusive cask whisky was matured in American oak then finished in Mizunara oak

Only 150 bottles available worldwide.

The Open, also referred to as the British Open, is the oldest and most prestigious golf tournament in the world with each bottle proudly carrying the Claret Jug logo.

 

Nose Tropical fruits of banana, pineapple, and fragrant spice.

Palate Toasted oak, caramel, apple, ginger, and cinnamon.

Finish Long with a melted brown sugar sweetness and waves of clove and sandalwood

Bottled at cask strength and non-chill filtered at 52.8% with natural colour.
