About Eden Mill Sherry Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Representing one half of Eden Mill's new flagship core range, the Sherry Cask Single Malt is finished in 50% Oloroso and 50% Pedro Ximenez giving a full-bodied bouquet of flavours on top of their grassy, floral new make spirit.
This is a maturation style that nods to the house style that can be expected from the new distillery. A Lowland whisky with a Highland heart, seamlessly combining a sweet, grassy, and floral newmake with a robust, spicy, and fruity maturation style.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Sticky toffee pudding and nut brittle with light spice
Palate: Chocolate raisins dusted with nutmeg. Toffee and a hint of citrus.
Finish: Medjool dates with a subtle cassia spice and sherried fruit cake.
