Grand Gold Medal winner

We are delighted to announce that The Whiskymaker's Reserve No.7 has been awarded the Grand Gold Medal at the 25th Spirits Selection by CMB.

Hosted in Treviso, Italy, this year's event saw spirits industry experts judge spirits from 57 countries spanning across five continents, and the fragrant and refined No.7, was one of only six single malts bestowed with the highest honour.

 

The final release in The Whiskymaker’s Reserve series, No.7 is a refined evolution on the journey to define a sherry-led signature style of the distilleries single malt.

Matured in the finest Oloroso, PX and red wine casks, comprising Spanish and American oak, it has a familiar bold and discernable flavour profile, evolved with an elegant sweetness.

A fragrant and refined finale to The Whiskymaker’s Reserve series, No.7 is non-chill filtered, natural colour, and bottled at 52% ABV.

 

Nose: Fragrant sandalwood, almond friands and orchard fruits with a touch of baking spice.

Palate: Rich and creamy with honeyed fruits, currants, and a hint of dark chocolate.

Finish: Creamy and fragrant with warming spice and hints of cocoa nibs.
