Robin has specially chosen this Sherry Hogshead which is the fourth in a series of unique Arran “Ambassador’s Dram” bottlings.
The Arran Ambassador's Dram Release 4 was distilled on 26-07-06 and bottled 04-11-22.
A 2nd fill Oloroso Hogshead, 16 years old non chill-filtered single malt bottled at 54.4% alc./vol. and deeming only 259 individually numbered bottles.

Colour: Rich Bronze.
Nose: Dark chocolate, Arabica coffee beans, stewed plums in Armagnac with shavings of Seville orange peel.
Palate: Rich macerated winter fruits lead to a velvety chocolate ganache, roast almonds, honeycomb, liquorice, and salted treacle toffee.
Finish: Satisfyingly long and voluptuous.
A mature and elegant dram.
