About Isle of Raasay Hebridean Single Malt Scotch Whisky Batch R-02.1

This lightly peated dram showcases the distilleries unique six-part maturation.

Peated and unpeated Isle of Raasay spirit are matured separately in first fill Rye Whiskey,Chinquapin oak and first fill Bordeaux red wine casks.
A first of this cask combination in Scotch whisky history.



Tasting Notes


Lightly peated – aromatic smoke fruit – cherry, apricot, blackcurrant savoury spice – black pepper , cinnamon sweet spice – crystalised ginger sandal wood vanilla and butter.
