About Oxford Rye

Known as "liquid rye", the purest expression of the company's heritage rye, the grain is harvested, twice distilled and then rested in American oak to bring out its best characteristics. This is not a whisky, but it is a preview of the great whiskies to come and a true expression of the grain. 

 

Nose: Flowers and orange marmalade with notes of caramel and walnut. Hints of banana and bubblegum pair with sandalwood and vanilla.

Palate: Praline coats the mouth with nuts and cream whilst caramel and freshly baked sourdough joins fruits and spices. 

Finish: 100% rye combines with clove and nutmeg for a spicy, toasted finish.
