Cask numbers 49541 & 49542 have been lying peacefully in Warehouse 6 since being filled on September 21st, 1978.

Gently and slowly maturing the precious spirit within. After thirty years, the spirit was moved to the finest First Fill Spanish Oloroso Sherry casks and laid down for a further decade until at long last bottling on 4th August 2020. 

With over forty two years’ patience comes reward.

In perfect harmony, aromas of stewed fruits, dark maple syrup and bursts of orange peel and bergamot meet soft flavours of dark chocolate, warming spices and salted caramel before a long, silky finish.

Only 350 bottles worldwide.
 

Luxury Presentation:
The originality of the extraordinary case lies in the unique opening mechanism, which involves pressing two rose gold metal buttons on the sides. Inside, the podium base holds the hand-blown Glencairn Crystal decanter and glasses decorated with solid copper bands, a solid copper stopper and a numbered certificate detailing the story of the whisky. Stitched and debossed details on the leather wrap add to the elegant feel. Protected in a secure material bag for transit and delivery, this product offers the buyer the ultimate in luxury.
