The latest Christmas edition of Big Peat marks the eleventh in the series.

This cask strength, smoky snowstorm delivers the ultimate taste of Islay.

This Limited Edition launch rounds off a big year for the cult Islay Malt, a year that has seen Big Peat take home a Gold Award at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Awards and the Master Medal at the Spirits Business Awards.

Big Peat Christmas 2021 packs an appropriately big peated punch, this year’s festive release is “packed with earthy, leathery, ashy charm, balanced by a wonderfully warming sweetness”.

Every year Douglas Laing create a slightly different seasonal recipe but always use the same Islay Single Malts, which include amongst others Ardbeg, Bowmore, Caol Ila and even some soft, chewed-leathery Port Ellen; but done in different proportions, releasing it at Cask Strength - this year, a punchy 52.8% alcohol strength.
