Two exquisite liquids become one, as malts finished in Spanish sherry barrels meet 12 year-old grain matured in red wine casks.
The Alchemy Series offers unconventional whisky expressions, indeed both rare and uncommon, with taste and flavours so vivid, from the decadent and the almost too splendid to those liquids created through unyielding experimentation that convey a taste –quite unlike any thing else to be found.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: A raucous sherry red (natural colour)
Nose: A sweet assault on your nostrils: dried fruit, walnuts, raisins, wood and orange.
Palate: An onslaught of sweet Spanish sherry cask flavours; brace yourself for a blast of berries.
Finish: A long dry finale with grapes, overflowing red wines and flamed toffee.
