About Deanston - 12 Year Old - 2008 - Oloroso Cask Matured - Single Malt Scotch Whisky

 Deanston - 12 Year Old - 2008 - Oloroso Cask Matured - Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

Distilled and filled into Oloroso casks on 4th September 2008.

The Oloroso sherry casks add a dry nutty sherry influence to this single malt, with treacle toffee and fruit to the fore.

 

Colour: Auburn.


Nose: Cherries and chocolate reminiscent of a black forest gateaux, followed by sweet spice, nutmeg and sultanas.


Palate: Treacle toffee, dark fruits and festive spice with hints of mocha and a touch of pine.


Finish: Long and warming finish with notes of gingerbread and nutmeg.
