In 1999 Paul Lawrie won one of the most exciting climaxes of the Open Championship in history. To mark this occasion Loch Lomond have created this unique whisky, made from three separate styles of spirit, all distilled in 1999. A fresh and fruity whisky that is complimented with a wonderful balance of character.
The uniquely fruity nature of our single malt combined with the American oak maturation provides deep aromas of honey, tropical fruits, hints of maple syrup and oak.
Bottled in a traditional artisanal manner: non chill-filtered and bottled at 50.8% ABV resulting in a richer mouth feel and a deeper and more complex flavour, just as nature intended.
