Loch Lomond 12 Year Old Inchmoan - Island Collection - Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This superb Inchmoan 12 Year Old Single Malt is a mixture of malt whiskies from the distilleries traditional swan neck  pot still. The unique straight neck still creates a peaty character with real depth combining spiciness and smoke.

The maturation in refill bourbon barrels and re-charred American oak barrels allows the spice driven peat and fruit distillery character to combine and deliver a more refined flavour.

• NOSE: Dry, smouldering peat smoke with vanilla syrup and cracked black pepper.

• TASTE: Sweet, medicinal peat and smoked bacon lead into roasted coffee bean with spice notes of clove and star anise. Warming spiciness combines with green apple and pear as fruit character develops.

• FINISH:Long, waxy peat with citrus hop note and gooseberry
