We are delighted to introduce Kingsbarns Dream to Dram single malt 1st Release which was distilled in 2015 and bottled 2018.
Kingsbarns Dream To Dram has been bottled from whisky in two types of cask and then married together. First fill ex-bourbon barrels and shaved, toasted and re-charred barriques. This cask profile has been designed to suit the fruity, complex and light spirit which has been meticulously produced.
Kingsbarns Distillery is a Lowland single malt distillery which prides itself on being the Spirit of the Kingdom of Fife, using only local barley from the sun soaked fields of Fife. The slow fermentation process and long distillation creates a remarkably clean, complex spirit.
Nose: The nose opens with banana foam sweets, tinned pineapple syrup and summer berries, there is a slight herbal edge to it.
Palate: Soft toffee, custard pastry and redcurrants.
Finish: Ginger syrup.
