A heavily peated expression...the dark angel if you will?
Bottled at 46% it has been created from a selection of Highland malts. This whisky offers a real smoky, peat reek initially which is followed by a subtle fruity sweetness akin to toffee apples and dark chocolate. The peat is smoky rather than medicinal.
