The Glencadam distillery is nestled between the home of the local football club, Brechin and a municipal cemetery! Thankfully the whisky is just as interesting as the distillery's location.
The producers tasting notes inform us that the nose is grassy and fresh with citrus and oaky notes. The palate is clean and crisp with a natural sweetness and soft, spicy oak. The finish is long with rich barley and gristy sweetness.
