The Doublewood is aged in first and second-fill Bourbon casks and then spends up to 12 months in Olorosso sherry casks.
It has a beautiful, smooth and mellow nose with lovely nutty sweetness. The palate is very fruity with cinnamon, sherry and spice flavours dominating. The finish is long and warming. Voted Best Speyside Malt(12 years and under) at 2008 World Whisky Awards.
