Single Malt Whisky is undoubtedly the most prestigious of the various varieties and is most strongly associated with Scotch Whisky production, although Single Malt Whisky is in fact produced all over the world.
Single Malt Whiskey must be made wholly from malted barley which is regarded as being the highest quality type of grain used in whisky production.
The Irish Whisky Industry has enjoyed a boom period, especially from 1990 and their single malt whiskeys are respected and loved worldwide due to their smooth nature and gentle, sweet palate.
Single Malt - 70cl / 40%
Triple distilled from 100% malted barley and matured for a minimum of 10 years in a Bourbon cask. The nose is fresh and zesty with wonderful aromas of vanilla and honey. The palate is soft with milk chocolate flavours. The finish is dry and crisp.
