Glenfarclas has been in the hands of the Grant family since 1865, having opened in 1836. A very impressive heritage!
At a whopping 60%, you'd expect the 105 to be over-powered and perhaps a bit rough...but you'd be wrong to do so. Even at such dizzying alcoholic heights, the 105 retains the character of Glenfarclas with its sweet, spicy and sherried flavour. Definitely one of the smoothest cask strength whiskies we've tried. That being said, we'd recommend sampling it both with and without water to experiment a tad.
