The Glencadam distillery is nestled between the home of the local football club, Brechin and a municipal cemetery! Thankfully the whisky is just as interesting as the distillery's location.
The nose is elegant with salty- sweet notes, very intriguing. The palate is charmingly malty with soft-oak and gentle sweetness along with salty undertones. The finish beomes maltier and more oaky, a very good whisky.
