About Kilchoman UK Exclusive Small Batch Release 4 - Bourbon - Sherry - STR Cask - Single Malt Scotch Whisky

UK SMALL BATCH #4

This Small Batch Vatting, exclusively available in the UK, it combines ex-bourbon barrels and ex-sherry casks matured Kilchoman at 46% ABV with one specially selected STR cask at natural cask strength.

The result is a marriage of classic Kilchoman citrus and peat smoke with layers of toffee, spices and red berries.

70% BOURBON / 5% SHERRY / 25% STR
1,260 Btls at 49.8% ABV 

 

Tasting Notes:

Nose: classic Kilchoman citrus sweetness gives way to red berries, baking spices with waves of peat smoke and herbal notes.

Palate: summer fruit and red grape sweetness, white chocolate, light hints of smokiness, charred pineapple and toffee.

Finish: long lingering smoky finish.
