Tomatin 1977 Highland Single Malt - Warehouse 6 Collection.

Cask number 38863 has been lying peacefully in Warehouse 6 since being filled on September 27th, 1977. Time has been well spent gently and slowly maturing this precious spirit in a hand selected Sauterne Hogshead until at long last bottling on 30th September 2019. 

A delightful explosion of orchard and tropical fruits set the scene, soon met with bursts of rich vanilla and salted caramel. Vivacious notes of oak aged Chardonnay, sweet honeysuckle, and baking spice, enticed from the Sauternes cask influence, dance across the palate resulting in a gloriously long finish.

Luxury Presentation:
The originality of the extraordinary case lies in the unique opening mechanism, which involves pressing two rose gold metal buttons on the sides. Inside, the podium base holds the hand-blown Glencairn Crystal decanter and glasses decorated with solid copper bands, a solid copper stopper and a numbered certificate detailing the story of the whisky. Stitched and debossed details on the leather wrap add to the elegant feel. Protected in a secure material bag for transit and delivery, this product offers the buyer the ultimate in luxury.
