A truly outstanding Springbank 18 Year Old from the Douglas Laing Old Particular Range.
Distilled in October 1996 and bottled February 2015 deeming only 360 bottles charged from a Refill Butt.
Nose: Warmingly spiced with intense heathery, leathery tones, bran and macerated fruits.
Palate: Malt abounds with brown sugar and lots of Sherry still evident with a spray of oceanic saltiness,draft and honey.
Finish: Shows a big oily, barley style, more fruit and spices with again salt and sugar.
