Glengoyne is one of the few distilleries that uses absolutely no peat to dry their malted barley, instead simply using air. They also have the slowest distillation process, resulting in a beautifully smooth and easy-drinking whisky.
The 10 Year Old is a sweet, creamy delight. Fresh green apples and toffee dominate the palate with a hint of nuttiness. A very good dram to break someone in to the world of whisky with.
