About Jura One For The Road 22 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
A very special bottle of Jura to celebrate the sad retirement of Willie Cochrane.
Willie joined the Jura Distillery team in 1977 and retired this year after 39 years service.
This Jura is a Pinot Noir Finish, non -chill filtered, cask strength and aged for 22 years.
Nose – Freshly baked bread, moist walnut cake, over-ripe pineapple and vanilla. A whisper of black bitter chocolate, Java coffee and tangy macaroons to finish.
Flavour – Ginger, cassis, frangipan and caramelised peaches. Glazed nectarines, pears in red wine, muscovado and soft cranberries. A finale of Turkish delight, coffee esque, fig syrup and cherry cake.
