The Nomad is born from a marriage of minds between the famous Sherry producers Gonzales Byass and the flamboyant and quite brilliant master distiller Richard Paterson. A carefully selected concerto of over 30 malt and grain whiskies are involved, initially being aged for three years here in Scotland in Sherry butts before being sent to Jerez to socialise with Gonzales Byass. There it is finished off in Pedro Ximenez casks for one year prior to bottling.
A long finish, pleasant with hints of vanilla and dried fruits
A very elegant whisky with a complex aftertaste.
